400X  To be honest, this microscope observation seemed more as if I was looking through a telescope into the moon! Regardless, if you want to see this yourself, you could actually make this (that is . . . by fermenting grape juice for about 10 months)!     400X+zoom Our latest club meeting allowed us to view something we're familiar with at the same time: fermented juice! For 10 months after opening the Concord 100% grape juice, I had fermented grape juice in order for the yeast cells to ferment and transition the juice into another drink. Yeast cells are very efficient at budding through asexual reproduction and consumes sugars inside the juice. Some of the wastes they send out include alcohol and ethanol , which ultimately becomes a widely known drink called alcohol! When enough water accumulates inside the drink, the yeast cells fall to the bottom in clumps as they are not able to survive well under those environments!   400x
